Tbf, first time I encountered a chao I thought it was some kind of bear/lion cub hybrid. He was sitting outside a baccy shop snoozing in the hot Italian sun, all fluffy and cute and that. I asked the owner what he was. Without missing a beat she said ?that?s our guard dog.??
