Credit Unions around the area are trying to make a difference for young children by getting them interested in reading.? ?Reach out and Read? is a national program where children who go into doctors for a well baby check up receive a new book for themselves.? Parents are encouraged to read to their children each day for 15-20 minutes and it will create a lifetime love of reading for children.? Your help is needed to drop off new books for children age birth to 5 years at any of the credit unions in the area between now and August 31st.? If you don?t have time to shop you can make a cash donation at any of the credit unions.
